“A Clean Vessel fitted for the Master’s Use”
For God to use us,
We must be empty, clean and available;
Not for storing flowers sent;
But the earthly body with the will to repent.
A clean vessel;
Pure and whole;
Your belief in God has saved your soul.
Old things are passed away;
Behold all things have become new.
As a clean vessel;
This refers to me and you.
Be ye steadfast;
Unmovable;
Abounding in the work of the Lord.
Your labor will not be in vain.
See 1 Corinthians 15:58;
For more knowledge to gain.
Be diligent to be found by him;
Without blemish or spot when seen;
As stated in 2 Peter 3:14.
There are other vessels
With a clean slate.
That will be entering into heaven’s gate.
Throwing away the bad;
And keeping the good;
Cleans the vessel too;
As it says in Ephesians Chapter four verses 31 and 32.
Our Pastor with a sanctified soul;
Has instilled in Christians,
God’s truce;
He is a clean vessel;
Fitted for the Master’s use.
